One Montgomery County online MBA program has found its place among the 100 best in the country for 2022, according to a new ranking by U.S. News and World Report, writes Kennedy Rose for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

More and more students are turning to online programs to further their education as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

To determine schools with the best online MBA programs, U.S. News and World Report focused on five main categories.

These include engagement with courses and instructors, quality of experts and high-ranking academic officials involved with the program, instructor credentials, student services and technologies, and student excellence.

Saint Joseph’s University ranked at No. 94, which also placed it as the seventh-best program in the region out of seven that have made the list.

Montco’s DeSales University is ranked No. 159, Villanova University in neighboring Delaware County ranked highest in the region at No. 16, while Chester County’s West Chester University also made the list in No. 56.

With seven online programs among the best 100, Greater Philadelphia is the metro area with the largest concentration of top-ranked online MBA programs.
