King of Prussia District is proud to announce the largest donation for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) raised through KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP, held in April.

Over the course of the 10-day event, diners, shoppers and 77 participating businesses raised $68,484 for CHOP’s King of Prussia Specialty Care Center and KOP inpatient hospital, slated to open this November.

Produced by King of Prussia District and presented by SERVPRO King of Prussia, the 2021 event featured plenty of new twists like takeout offerings and Takeout Under the Tents, a pop-up outdoor dining oasis installed in the KOP Mall parking lot.

The event space featured furnished igloos available by reservation with a donation to CHOP, takeout tents, and live music nights. King of Prussia District also hosted Family Fun Day within Takeout Under the Tents, attracting 400+ people who enjoyed live music, food trucks, magic, balloon twisting, and character appearances.

KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP 2021 was presented by SERVPRO of King of Prussia, and supported by Igloo Garden Sponsor AVE King of Prussia; Platinum Sponsors All Seasons Landscaping and IBEW Local 98; Gold Sponsors 575 South, Anthology of King of Prussia, Best Western Plus The Inn at King of Prussia, Crave Montco and Monto Makers; Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Sponsor Fusion PPE; Igloo Reservation Partner OpenTable; and In-Kind Sponsors Conlin’s Print, King of Prussia Mall and LytStyx.
