KOP Restaurant Week & KOP Shops for CHOP, April 11-15 and 18-22, features 10 days of dining specials from 36 eateries and in-store discounts from King of Prussia retailers.

It’s a new pop-up outdoor dining area with igloos, tents and music; and takeout/delivery options in addition to in-restaurant dining.

The region’s only combined dining and shopping event with a charitable beneficiary, KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP, presented by SERVPRO of King of Prussia, shines a light on KOP’s diverse dining and world-class shopping scene while raising funds for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

This year’s event features ten days of deals from 36 eateries and 16 retailers, and offers multiple dining options to help restaurants rebuild and accommodate diners regardless of whether they are comfortable dining inside, outside, or from home.

“We are profoundly touched by the generosity of local businesses who rallied to support this year’s KOP Restaurant Week,” said Eric Goldstein, Executive Director of King of Prussia District. “Our sponsors’ donations embody the very mission of King of Prussia District to facilitate initiatives that improve the economic climate and make King of Prussia the best place for work, life and recreation.”

King of Prussia District is proud to debut Takeout Under the Tents, a beautifully lit and landscaped outdoor dining oasis available only during Restaurant Week in the King of Prussia Mall parking lot (Yellow Outer Loop parking lot along Mall Boulevard directly across from the Crowne Plaza Hotel).

Takeout Under the Tents features 12 individual dining tents and 4 cozy, heated igloos furnished by AVE King of Prussia. Diners can pick up their takeout from participating restaurants to enjoy in the space or order delivery directly to the tents through restaurants or a third-party delivery service.

Live music each Sunday and Thursday from 5-8 PM. Attendees must bring takeout from participating restaurants to enjoy the live music.

Saturday, April 17, is Family Fun Day, complete with games, live performances from Roots with Ruark and Sadie Gustafson (as seen on American Idol), balloon twisting from former CHOP patient Ben’s Balloon Animals, entertainment donated by Poly the Magician and carnival treats from Sweet Thangs Nut & Candy Truck.

CHOP and King of Prussia District have teamed up to launch an online giving page where individuals can donate directly to CHOP. Additionally, KOP District continues to encourage area businesses to fundraise for CHOP and donate through the District’s Community Champions program, which has has raised $10,000 from 22 businesses so far in 2021.

KOP Restaurant Week will also feature two-course lunch menus priced at $10, $15 or $20 and three-course dinner menus at $20, $30 or $40 from 27 of KOP’s restaurants. In addition, 9 of KOP’s fast casual/quick service restaurants will offer deals and donation days throughout the 10-day period.

King of Prussia District’s 2021 Restaurant Week is off to a record-breaking start with a 160% year-over-year increase in corporate sponsorships as compared to 2020, and $20,000 raised thus far for CHOP through various fundraising efforts.

In 2020, KOP Restaurant Week and KOP Shops for CHOP was cut short due to COVID-19 outbreak, however the campaign still managed to raise an impressive $40,000 for CHOP.

Since its launch in 2014, this campaign has raised a total of $152,500 for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
