Hotel Hero: Everett Nisbett, Front Office Manager

Each week, the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB) is recognizing hard-working hospitality employees, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To honor the travel industry, and share inspiring and positive stories, the VFTCB is putting a particular spotlight on Montgomery County’s 80 hotels by honoring different “Hotel Heroes” on the organization’s social media channels, primarily on Facebook and LinkedIn, platforms that have more than 160,000 VFTCB/Visit Valley Forge followers.
This week’s VFTCB Hotel Hero is Everett Nisbett, Front Office Manager at Homewood Suites Lansdale, nominated by Kate Pouy, Director of Sales.
Nisbett has been with Homewood Suites Lansdale for two years, but has several years of hotel and hospitality experience.
“Everett consistently goes above and beyond,” Pouy said. “During the pandemic, he has proven invaluable to the hotel’s day-to-day operations. Quick to jump in to any and all departments that need an extra hand, there is no job, big or small, ever missed with Everett.”
Pouy credits Nisbett’s love for people a main reason as to why the hotel has so much repeat business.

“He does this all with a smile on his face, and his hospitable approach to all of our hotel guests is outstanding,” Pouy said.
“In fact, the reason he chose this business is because Everett loves people. He loves meeting each guest and getting to know them. He takes the time to listen and treats everyone like family.”
The hotel staff being honored are a variety from sales directors to housekeeping attendants, and culinary team members all across the county, and are going above and beyond the call of duty in their lodging responsibilities.
