AMC Theaters Reopens Several Local Theaters, Institutes Safe & Clean Program

Movie Time! AMC Theaters reopened several of its theaters in the Philadelphia region this month with the AMC Safe & Clean program.

AMC Theaters reopened several of its theaters in the Philadelphia region and statewide on January 4, with several more expected to be open by the end of the week, according to a staff report from FOX 29 Philadelphia.

To ensure the safety of all moviegoers, the theater chain has initiated the AMC Safe & Clean program which follows the strict guidance from public health officials.

The seven theaters that have already opened include AMC Neshaminy 24, AMC Plymouth Meeting 12, AMC 309 Cinema 9, and AMC Marple 10.

Among the theaters that will reopen by the weekend are AMC DINE-IN Painters Crossing 9 and AMC CLASSIC Pottsgrove 12, along with 16 more locations throughout Pennsylvania.

All of these policies will be stringently enforced. This includes the wearing of mandatory mask as well as ensuring that all patrons maintain the appropriate social distancing.

Also in addition to the regular movie showings, AMC will be continuing its theater rental program. This allows people to book a theater for up to 20 friends and family for a private movie viewing.
