Montgomery County is home to nine of the Top 50 school districts in Pennsylvania for 2021, according to recently published rankings by Niche.com.

To determine the rankings for its list of the 2021 Best School Districts in Pennsylvania, Niche.com used data from the U.S. Department of Education to perform rigorous analysis of various key statistics along with the millions of reviews submitted by students and parents. Among the factors that were evaluated were state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ATC scores, teacher quality, and more.

The highest-ranked Montgomery County school district is Lower Merion School District in fourth place.

The School District of Upper Dublin is next in ninth place, followed by Wissahickon School District at No. 12.

Meanwhile Colonial School District broke into the Top 20 at No. 15.

Spring-Ford Area School District is next at No. 21, with Lower Moreland Township School District close behind at No. 23.

Next comes Perkiomen Valley School District and North Penn School District are at No. 32 and No. 33 respectively.

Finally, the list is rounded off by Jenkintown School District in forty-eighth place.
