A no-cost Business & Industry Virtual Roundtable Discussion hosted by MCCC’s Workforce Development Division will focus on resources available to local businesses.

A no-cost Business & Industry Virtual Roundtable Discussion hosted by Montgomery County Community College’s Workforce Development Division will focus on resources available to local businesses in these challenging times.

The interactive roundtable discussion will take place on June 25 from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The event, which will be led by MCCC’s Workforce Development Team, will start with a discussion on talent development during the COVID-19 environment from the Executive Director of Workforce, Greg Skelley.

This section will feature the Statewide Director of WEDnetPA, Tom Vendetti, who will discuss the program status and any changes influenced by the coronavirus pandemic.

Afterward, Dave Zellers, Montgomery County Director of Commerce, and Jennifer Butler, Executive Director of MontcoWorks/Montgomery County Workforce Development Board, will discuss the additional resources and opportunities available to Montgomery County businesses.

Meanwhile, Dr. Anthony Valente, Chief Medical Officer of Lehigh Valley Healthcare Network, will talk about several hot topics relating to COVID-19.

Finally, Shelly Stockmal, Community Leader of Victory Bank, and Christine Mobley, Director of Talent Management of Dorman Products, will highlight the best practices they have implemented to stay operational during the pandemic as essential businesses.
