Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, a 16-year-old gamer from Pottsgrove, and Jessica Romanelli David, the director of marketing at West Conshohocken-based SeventySix Capital, have made Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for 2020, writes Paige Gross for the Technical.ly.
The annual list highlights entrepreneurs who are “proof positive that the future will be new, exciting, and profoundly different.” This year, 600 people were recognized across 20 industries.
Giersdorf found his place in the gaming category. In July, the high school junior took home the trophy and a hefty prize of $3 million at the first-ever Fortnite World Championship held in New York City.
He also signed with eSports organization Sentinels and has managed to amass more than 1.2 million followers on the streaming platform Twitch.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old David was named in the sports category.
At SeventySix Capital, she is in charge of managing the company’s strategic marketing efforts, including digital media, design, public relations, and events.
She also provides marketing support to the sports venture capital firm’s Athlete Venture Group. This includes the former Philadelphia Phillies player Ryan Howard and former NFL players DeMarco Murray and Brian Westbrook.
