The Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies will host an open house and panel discussion in its Conference Center, located at 30 East Swedesford Road in Malvern, on Tuesday, March 24 from 5-7 PM.

Penn State Great Valley extends the resources and reputation of one of the nation’s leading research universities to the Greater Philadelphia area. It offers outstanding graduate degree and certificate programs, professional development courses, and conference planning services.

The first part of the evening will feature networking with program directors, faculty, students, and alumni to learn more about the campus’s graduate degrees and professional development programs.

The hour-long panel discussion – “How to Dig Out of a Career Rut” – will begin at 5:30 PM. Panelists include local talent acquisition professionals, graduate students, and Penn State alumni, who will share how graduate degrees or professional certificates helped change their career paths and the value hiring managers see in advanced education.

Light refreshments will be provided, and all attendees will receive a $65 application fee waiver.

Penn State Great Valley offers master’s degrees, graduate certificates, and non-credit professional development programs relevant to today’s workplace. Its programs combine the research, theory, and hands-on experience needed to strengthen leadership skills and technical knowledge of working adults and recent college graduates. Designed to meet the demands of work, family, and life in general, Penn State Great Valley’s courses are offered in a flexible, seven-week format.
