King of Prussia Health Center, Main Line Health’s sixth ambulatory care center in the Philadelphia suburbs, is ready for its grand opening on March 9.

King of Prussia Health Center, Main Line Health’s sixth ambulatory care center in the Philadelphia suburbs, is ready for its grand opening on March 9, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The six-story, 94,000-square-foot building and its accompanying 332-space parking garage are located in the Village at Valley Forge. The center cost $64 million to create and includes Main Line Health’s first women’s specialty center.

“We thought this would be a great spot to be in,” said Donna Phillips, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital president and senior executive of ambulatory and professional services at Main Line Health. “The growth in the King of Prussia area is tremendous.”

The new center will have physicians in more than 20 specialty practice areas, more than any of Main Line Health’s other ambulatory care centers.

These will include primary and specialty care, as well as physical medicine and rehabilitation, imaging and diagnostic radiology, and laboratory services.

Meanwhile, specialty services at the women’s specialty center, which is being created in collaboration with Axia Women’s Health, will cover breast health, digestive health, and headache care, among others.
