Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia has made several moves to increase its revenues to great success, nearly doubling its income from January 2019 to January 2020, writes Katie Kohler for the Play Pennsylvania.

The venue with a 40,000-square-feet gaming floor recently dropped its  $10 amenity fee, added more than 250 slots, and joined forces with FanDuel to bring a sportsbook to the location.

The resulting 92 percent rise in revenue is by far the largest out of any of the state’s twelve casinos.

David Zerfing, General Manager of Valley Forge Casino Resort, described the venue as a local casino where most of the clientele come to visit several times a week.

“They are the lifeblood of our property,” said Zerfing.

As a result, Valley Forge Casino has made sure to put an emphasis on the customer experience long before it decided to add iGaming.

“We provide customer interaction and provide a friendly, homely atmosphere that you can’t get from playing online,” said Zerfing. “It’s what our culture is all about.”
