Montgomery County Community College will host the 7th Tri-County High School Exhibition from Feb. 18 through March 20 at North Hall Art Gallery at its West Campus in Pottstown.

The opening reception will be held on Feb. 18 from 5-7 PM. Both the exhibition and the reception are free and open to the community.

The exhibition will showcase around 130 works from more than 100 high school students from Berks, Chester, and Montgomery counties.

Painter, author, and instructor Nancy Saladik, who is the show’s juror, will select 12 pieces from the submitted works for special recognition and prizes.

Saladik is a holder of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kutztown University, where she majored in Communication Design. She then got her master’s degree in Art Education from Arcadia University. Her work experience includes many years in graphic design as well as several years as an art educator in the Philadelphia area. She is now a full-time artist.

While taking classes at MCCC five years ago, Saladik was recognized with the “Best in Show” award at the school’s annual student art exhibition. Her artwork has been added to MCCC’s permanent collection.
