On Feb. 1, King of Prussia Mall will kick off its annual celebration of the Chinese New Year with an amazing performance of the Lion and Dragon Dance performed by Philadelphia Suns.

The vibrant parade that features traditional costumes and music will commence at 3 p.m. in Concierge and finish at Macy’s Court.

In addition to enjoying the parade at one of the most iconic shopping destinations in the nation, visitors will be able to take a themed picture at the Lunar New Year selfie station.

This will be available near Savor, right at the center of the connector. There will also be themed decorations at Concierge along with a candy station.

Philadelphia Suns is a nonprofit organization that aims to build positive character qualities by teaching members to be an encouraging influence for both the team and the community.

The Lion and Dragon Dance performed by the group is a cultural activity that helps keep members of Philadelphia’s Asian American community close to their roots.
