The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks will welcome sportsmen and pet-lovers alike next weekend for the Greater Philly Sportsmen’s Expo and the Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo.

The first event will take place from Jan. 9 through 12 and offer a plethora of vendors for outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing.

Visitors will be able to discover the world of outdoor sports, learn from the best professionals in the industry, and win some amazing prizes.

Among others, headliner Frank Addington will demonstrate his outstanding skills with his Hoyt bow during his Amazing Archery Show, including shattering a baby aspirin from behind his back.

Additionally there will be a children’s discovery zone with a mechanical bull, an obstacle course, and a giant velcro archery range.

Meanwhile, the Greater Philadelphia Pet Expo will take place from Jan. 10 through 12. This event will feature numerous pet vendors, educational and entertaining performances, special attractions, and a hands-on-petting zoo.

More than 100 vendors and rescue groups will also have pets available for adoption.

This year, the expo is expected to draw more than 15,000 attendees who can bring their well-behaved, leashed dogs to the event.
