Sora West, a mixed-use development in Conshohocken, topped off last Thursday, marking a major milestone for the Keystone Property Group’s $325 million project, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The 11-story building will become the new headquarters for AmerisourceBergen.

One of the world’s largest pharmaceutical service companies will relocate its corporate operations from its existing Conshohocken offices and its larger location at Chesterbrook Corporate Center in Wayne to the new building at 125 E. Elm street.

There it will take up 429,122 square feet of office space.

In addition to the offices, the project will also include retail space, a parking garage, a hotel, and a large public plaza.

Also, a restaurant will be opened in the historic firehouse on the property.

The project’s architect is Gensler, the general contractor is Intech Construction, and Harmon Group is the engineer.

Due to the height of its buildings, Sora West joins Seven Tower Bridge development in redefining the skyline in Conshohocken.

AmerisourceBergen is scheduled to start moving into its new offices in January next year and plans to have the move completed by the following June.
