Audubon-based J. P. Mascaro & Sons has increased the company’s employee awareness program for the coronavirus health crisis.

J.P. Mascaro & Sons, the Audubon-based family operated waste service company, was recently awarded around $2.5 million in new municipal waste collection and recycling contracts. The company will now add Boroughs of Royersford, Bridgeport, and Mount Penn to the areas it services.

Among the reasons for the company being awarded the contracts, company President Pat Mascaro listed owning and operating a DEP-permitted transfer stations, landfills,  recycling facilities and having unmatched experience in providing required public sector waste services.

He also touted the company’s modern fleet of collection and transportation vehicles and equipment and highly qualified and dedicated management and employees as major contributing factors.

“This winning combination enables our company to be successful on a large number of our bids and to provide municipalities and other public sector customers with the highest quality service at a reasonable cost,” said Mascaro.

The two Montgomery County municipalities will be serviced out of Mascaro’s Great Valley Division, while Mount Penn Borough will be serviced by the company’s Berks Division.

J.P. Mascaro & Sons has over half a century of experience in performing municipal contracts. It is also recognized as a premier provider of waste collection and recycling services for the Southeastern and Northeastern Pennsylvania regional areas.
