The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board is leading the way with changes to its website that will make it one of the first that is ADA compliant in the region.

VFTCB has partnered with AudioEye, a web personalization tool that makes it possible for organizations to provide their website visitors with a fully customizable user experience that is adjusted to their individual needs.

The experience is tailored to each user regardless of their device type, language preference, or preferred access method.

The tool provides benefits to all of the site’s visitors, but especially to aging populations, individuals with vision, hearing, motor, and cognitive disabilities, as well as people who are color blind, dyslexic, learning to read, studying a second language, or simply prefer listening.

“We’re always expanding our audience, and so we want to make sure our website is fresh, but not just with photos and videos,” said Ed Harris, Chief Marketing Officer for the VFTCB.

The VFTCB is also highlighting a number of tourist spots in Montgomery County that are fully accessible for people with disabilities on its website, including Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown and Colebrookdale Railroad.
