From Jul. 25-27, the Valley Forge Casino Resort will roar with the sound of triumph as it hosts the 2025 USA Powerlifting Youth Nationals.

Athletes from across the country will gather in King of Prussia to compete, connect, and chase records. But this year’s competition opens with something even more powerful than personal bests — it begins with purpose.

On Friday morning, the EmpowerID Division will launch the event, featuring lifters with intellectual disabilities competing on the national stage. Athletes in this session embody the core values of USA Powerlifting: strength, perseverance, and community. Their presence is not only inspiring; it’s history in the making.

Over the three-day event, youth powerlifters aged 8-18 will test their limits, cheered on by families, friends, and fans. With some athletes aiming to qualify for international events, spectators can expect jaw-dropping lifts and unforgettable moments.

Hosted in partnership with Valley Forge Sports, this national championship is also a rare opportunity for media to capture compelling stories — from fierce battles for gold to heartwarming displays of resilience and sportsmanship.

Whether you’re drawn to elite competition or the deeper meaning of inclusive athletics, this weekend in Valley Forge will be one to remember.
