Montgomery County Community College will hold an Educational Improvement Tax Credit informational breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 7 in East House on its Central Campus in Blue Bell.

This free event is an ideal opportunity for businesses and corporations to learn more about how they can use Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit program to help students succeed. At the same time they can improve their bottom line with beneficial tax credits.

Those interested in attending this informational breakfast should RSVP by Nov. 4 to Sarah Rudich. Parking for the event is free.

During the event, participants will learn about how the EITC program works and receive information on the available tax credits and eligible student programs at MCCC.

One of MCCC’s programs is the school’s award-winning Gateway to College program. This provides students who are at risk of not graduating from high school with a second chance to complete their high school education while earning credits toward a post-secondary credential.

Since initiated six years ago, this program has helped more than 150 students earn their high school diplomas.
