King of Prussia’s Pizzeria Vetri has some of the best pizzas in the nation, according to The 101 Best Pizzas in America list published by The Daily Meal.

The local pizza joint made the cut out of nearly 1,000 pizzas considered this year, coming in at No. 62.

Pizzeria Vetri, which in addition to King of Prussia also has two locations in Philadelphia. It was born from the success of the thin-crust pies served by Chef Marc Vetri at his casual Philadelphia Italian restaurant Osteria.

The pizzas offered at the Montgomery County establishment include the delicious Speck, which comes with smoky cured speck, pistachio pesto, balsamic, mozzarella, roasted cippolini onions, and Parmigiano and the just-as-tasty Gambaretto with rock shrimp, salsa verde, scallions, and Parmigiano.

There is also the Salciccia, which has a divine combination of fennel sausage, roasted fennel, and tomato sauce.

Another must-try is the Rotolo, a crispy pizza dough pinwheel filled with house-made mortadella sausage and ricotta topped with pistachio pesto.

According to the list, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven, Connecticut has the best pizzas in the country.
