GVF, a not-for-profit organization created to advocate and promote a viable transportation network for the region’s economic vitality, will host its signature event, its TDM Advocates Breakfast, Monday, September 16, 2019.

Through GVF’s annual TDM Advocates program organizations are encouraged and recognized for their commitment towards implementing programs that promote commuting alternatives and alleviate congestion for their employees and the community.

GVF works year-round with its partners to develop programs and incorporate TDM and/or sustainability initiatives into their work environment. This could be installing and maintaining bike racks or other storage for bicycles, implementing flextime or work from home programs, or ensuring an office has access to a bus stop or train station.
Katie Katro, reporter for 6abc Action News, will present GVF’s TDM Advocates Awards. This year’s organizations include Fortune 500 companies, college and universities, hospitals, engineering and development firms, hospitality and retail locations, as well as local municipalities (the full list of recipients is highlighted below).
Keynote speaker:
Justin has over two decades of expertise in the TDM field and recently published a book “Building a Multimodal Future”. Published in partnership with the Association of Commuter Transportation (ACT) and ULI, Justin will present on how planning land uses and transportation together with transportation demand management (TDM) policies creates safer, more walkable environments.
