Lansdale’s Boardroom Spirits Micro-Distillery Ready for Big League

Lansdale’s Boardroom Spirits distillery is promoting local partnerships by making connections within the community.

After just over a year in operation, Lansdale’s family-owned micro-distillery Boardroom Spirits is ready for a new expansion, with its spirits set to hit state liquor stores as well as some across the state border, writes Kenneth Hilario for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Boardroom Spirits, founded by brothers Vlad Mamedov, Marat Mamedov, and Marat’s wife Zsuzsa Palotas, hit an expansion milestone this year when around 100 restaurants throughout Greater Philadelphia started offering its spirits.

The small-batch locally sourced spirits offered by the micro-distillery include the more common whiskey, vodka, and gin, as well as a somewhat unusual fruit-infused line called “Fresh.” The company is also launching a new carrot based spirit this month.

The expansion plan is to add its products to 10 Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s stores including four in Center City, and one in Ardmore.

Having this kind of presence in Center City will present a significant opportunity for Boardroom Spirits, as it is located nearly an hour away from Philadelphia.

“We’re in the suburbs, on the outside looking in,” explained Mamedov. “It helps extend our reach. It’s tremendous exposure.”

This year should also see its products cross the state border into New Jersey.
