Andrew Godwin, a visually impaired boy, was able to enjoy the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Saint Miriam Parish in Flourtown with the help of beeping eggs.

A visually impaired boy was able to enjoy the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Saint Miriam Parish in Flourtown thanks to beeping eggs, writes Cleve Bryan for CBS Philly.

“I was listening to where they were and with daddy’s help I was really zoning in on them,” explained 8-year-old Andrew Godwin.

The 50 beeping eggs were created with the assistance of the Montgomery County Bomb Squad. Saint Miriam’s invited members of blind associations in the area, but Andrew was the only one to attend.

“Being able to do the egg hunt independently as blind individuals was liberating,” said Godwin.
