Development Lead

This position is the primary technical point of contact for both the internal and client teams throughout the project life cycle, including sales, kick-off, research, design, delivery, and maintenance. He/she is responsible for both the successful delivery of code and tech-related assets for projects, as well as the technical discovery process on potential projects. The person will develop and maintain a deep understanding of client’s business and technology stack, establish and maintain a positive relationship with the client, and represent Think Brownstone with professionalism and integrity.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and be an expert at determining and analyzing technical project requirements, and creating and managing a plan of work, including identifying deliverables and estimating time. He/she should have significant experience in leading and coaching a development team to deliver technical deliverables on-time, on-budget, and on-spec.

Web Developer

Think Brownstone is hiring experienced Web Developers who are passionate about crafting code that is as beautiful and as elegant as the company’s designs. The development team is comprised of technologists who understand and are able to reconcile the goals of development, design, and business. Think Brownstone believes in open web standards, progressive enhancement, accessibility, and making things fast. It is a team of individuals with diverse skills who love learning and sharing knowledge.

The ideal candidate has experience with or is open to learning newer web technologies, such as web components and single page application frameworks like AngularJS. He/she has experience with or is open to learning server-side programming languages and technical stacks, such as PHP, .NET, Java/JSP, and ColdFusion. The person has experience with or is open to learning various CMS platforms, such as WordPress, Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, and Sitecore.

UX Designer

This position will work collaboratively on creative teams that include both clients and internal colleagues, and will design solutions that incorporate modern usability and interaction design practices, including both responsive and device-native strategies. He/she will conduct needs analyses by synthesizing client discussions, system assessments, contextual inquiries, user data, and other research findings. The person will create deliverables from scratch with little to no oversight.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, and have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the UX design field. He/she will have a portfolio of work demonstrating experience designing for complex systems on multiple platforms, including mobile. The person will have uncommon attention to detail with focus on efficiency, and a track record of driving project work streams and deliverables.
