A mid-century gem designed by famed architect Robert McElroy has hit the market in Bryn Mawr, writes Melissa Romero for Curbed Philadelphia.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home was built in 1960 and designed by McElroy, whose unique touch can be seen throughout the Main Line. The house spans 2,510 square feet, and has been updated with a modern kitchen and a new cantilevered roof.

However, many classic McElroy features remain, such as its huge windows that bathe the interior with plenty of natural light, and the beautiful landscape covered in rich flora.

The home at 584 South Bryn Mawr Avenue also features a large back porch that overlooks the property’s two koi ponds.

Although the home’s status is currently contingent, there is still a chance to tour the property and submit a backup offer in case the current offer falls through.
