Peirce-Phelps is providing cooling and heating systems from Mitsubishi Electric US. They will be installed in 12 new single-family homes in the Diamond Park area of north Philadelphia.

Builders broke ground for the new homes last April and expect to finalize all 12 residences by October 2017.

Over the last 30 years, Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia has built more than 80 homes in north Philadelphia.

“Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is building these homes with underprivileged homeowners in mind, prioritizing use of the latest in home-building technology from Mitsubishi Electric to maximize savings and energy efficiency,” said David Lamb, Product Manager at Peirce-Phelps.

“Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia relies on donations from manufacturers like Mitsubishi Electric and the technical expertise of partners like Peirce-Phelps to provide sustainable, affordable housing to low-income families,” said Carrie Rathmann, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia.
