Netflix House at the King of Prussia Mall is preparing to bring one of the streaming service’s biggest recent hits into the real world this holiday season, writes Molly McVety for The Philly Voice.
A new ticketed attraction will drop fans inside the animated film’s universe.
What Is KPop Demon Hunters?
Before it became a Netflix phenomenon, “KPop Demon Hunters” was a surprise.
The animated film follows a girl group that moonlights as supernatural warriors. It blends K-pop culture with action and an original soundtrack that took on a life of its own.
“Golden,” the film’s signature song, won both an Academy Award for Best Original Song and a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media, making it one of the most decorated tracks in recent animated film history.
What the Experience Will Include
“KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience” will allow visitors to step inside the film’s world. The attraction will feature its characters, action and music.
Netflix has not revealed many specifics, but confirmed the experience will include HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys and fan-favorite character Derpy Tiger.
Visitors will be able to take photos with a large sculpture of the blue tiger. Music is expected to play a central role throughout.
Netflix Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee said fan research showed audiences wanted opportunities to hear the film’s songs and to sing and participate in the experience.
When and Where
The experience is set to open at Netflix House King of Prussia during the holiday season. A specific date has not been announced.
Ticket prices and purchase details will also be released later this year.
In the meantime, fans won’t have to wait long for a KPop Demon Hunters event at the venue. Fan screenings of the film are scheduled at Netflix House King of Prussia on June 20.
A matching attraction is also planned for Netflix House Dallas, the brand’s second permanent location.
About Netflix House King of Prussia
The approximately 100,000-square-foot King of Prussia location opened in November 2025 inside the former Lord and Taylor space.
It was the first Netflix House anywhere in the world. Initial offerings included immersive adventures based on “Wednesday” and “One Piece.” It also has virtual reality games, miniature golf, themed dining, and merchandise.
Netflix has continued to update the venue since its debut. A “Bridgerton” seasonal activation opened in February with tea service, drawing sessions, and other activities inspired by the romantic drama.
The addition of “KPop Demon Hunters” reinforces King of Prussia Mall’s evolution beyond conventional retail.
By filling a former department store with rotating entertainment and fan experiences, Netflix House gives visitors new reasons to return. It offers a glimpse of how large vacant anchor spaces may increasingly be used.
