King of Prussia’s David’s Bridal Rolls Out a New VIP Shopping Experience

David's Bridal now offers $50 VIP appointments with two hours of private styling, a dedicated stylist, and bring-your-own champagne.

David’s Bridal is adding a new, paid tier to its wedding shopping experience as the King of Prussia-based retailer continues its post-bankruptcy reinvention, writes Morning Star.

The company has introduced VIP Appointments, a $50 option for brides and other formalwear shoppers who want a more private, event-style visit.

The fee buys two full hours with a dedicated stylist in a private fitting room. That’s far more time and attention than a standard appointment.

What’s Included

According to David’s Bridal, the VIP experience covers bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom looks, prom, homecoming, quinceañera, gala and black-tie events, wedding guest dresses, and other formal occasions.

Guests can also bring their own champagne, snacks, decorations, favors, and an unlimited entourage, turning the appointment into a celebration rather than a transaction.

“As life’s biggest moments deserve more than a quick shopping trip, we created our VIP Appointment experience to give customers the time, attention, and celebration they deserve,” said Heather Braddock, David’s Bridal’s chief global operations and transformation officer.

Still Free to Walk In

David’s Bridal is positioning the new service as an upgrade, not a replacement. The company’s standard appointments and walk-ins remain free, with no consultation fee or purchase minimum.

This keeps its accessible model intact while adding a paid, higher-touch option for shoppers who want more.

A Familiar Address for Montco Shoppers

The VIP option is available at all David’s Bridal locations in the U.S. and Canada, including its Plymouth Meeting and Feasterville stores. The company has Montgomery County roots of its own.

It relocated its headquarters from Conshohocken to King of Prussia in 2024. This came two years after emerging from its second Chapter 11 bankruptcy in five years.

Part of a Bigger Reinvention

VIP appointments are the latest move in that turnaround. Under CEO Kelly Cook, David’s Bridal has leaned into AI-powered planning tools through its Pearl platform. It launched the “Breaking Bridal” docuseries and rolled out new boutique concepts and services well beyond wedding gowns.

Rather than competing only on price and inventory, David’s Bridal is leaning into experience, personalization, and convenience. These areas are increasingly important to younger brides and shoppers planning milestone events.

For a company long associated with mass-market bridal retail, the $50 VIP tier signals an effort to offer something more intimate while still using the scale and reach that made David’s Bridal a national name.

VIP Appointments can be booked by emailing [email protected] or visiting David’s Bridal’s appointment page.

Availability is limited, and advance booking is encouraged.
