A growing healthcare coworking company is planting deeper roots in Montgomery County, writes John George for The Philadelphia Business Journal.
MedCoShare has opened a new location and headquarters at Horsham Business Center, bringing its shared office model for medical professionals to Horsham.
The new site spans 8,300 square feet at 300 Welsh Road, with roughly half dedicated to flexible medical office space. The rest serves as the company headquarters.
The concept allows healthcare providers to rent fully equipped space on a flexible schedule while also tapping into support services like billing, scheduling, and marketing.
Founded in 2019, MedCoShare was built on the idea of applying the coworking model to healthcare. This model helps providers reduce overhead while maintaining independence.
The company has grown to more than 120 tenants across locations in King of Prussia, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Texas. It recently secured seed funding to fuel further expansion.
The Horsham location also positions the company to launch a franchising model later this year, with plans to expand into Bucks County and beyond.
Leadership says the new headquarters will serve as a hub for training, meetings, and operational support as the business scales.
