Termini Brothers Bakery, which has been a staple in Philadelphia for more than a century, has announced it will lower prices on several of its classic items, writes Shaynah Ferreira for FOX 29.
The announcement is part of the brand’s commitment to making their items affordable and accessible to individuals and families, while prices nationwide are continuing to rise.
“We’re really excited about it because there are significant price adjustments,” said Termini Bros. general manager Vincent “Vinny” Termini Jr.
For instance, Termini Brother’s 8-inch birthday cakes have been reduced 25 percent from $40 to $30, while the cupcakes’ prices were reduced from $5 to $3.
The cupcake cost reduction came after the owners witnessed a young boy unable to buy enough for his sisters due to its cost.
That experience made the owners come to the realization of the effect high costs can have on customers and decided to make a change.
“Our relationship with our customers is so special. That’s how we look at it. It’s a relationship,” said Termini.
While lowering prices, Termini Bros.’ is also committed to ensuring the size and quality of their products don’t change.
