A new restaurant concept is headed to the former home of Farm and Fisherman Tavern in Horsham, according to Dino Ciliberti for Patch.
The space on Horsham Road will soon be occupied by Scratch Kitchen by Gallo’s, a new seafood-focused concept from the team behind Gallo’s Seafood in Northeast Philadelphia.
Township officials confirmed the restaurant will take over the site that has sat vacant since Farm and Fisherman closed suddenly in July 2024 after seven years in operation. That restaurant was led by chefs Josh and Colleen Lawler in partnership with chef Todd Fuller. It had built a following for its farm-driven menu and tavern-style atmosphere.
The new concept aims to position itself as more than just a dining spot. Owners describe Scratch Kitchen by Gallo’s as a neighborhood gathering place where families and friends can come together around thoughtfully prepared food.
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the restaurant has begun hiring staff ahead of its debut.
For Horsham residents, the reopening of the longtime restaurant space marks the start of a new chapter along the busy Horsham Road corridor.
