Spring craft fair season is giving Montgomery County shoppers plenty of reasons to get out and browse local this month, writes Main Line Today.
Among the featured events is the Spring It On! Craft Show on March 14 at Sunnybrook Ballroom in Pottstown. More than 80 vendors are expected, along with a cash bar and snacks from Gatsby’s Pub.
In Oaks, The Best Bead Show runs March 20 through 22 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. The show offers shoppers a chance to browse artisan jewelry, gemstones, pearls, Czech glass, and Japanese seed beads.
The Worcester Spring Craft Fair on March 21 will feature more than 50 vendors, plus basket raffles, food and free Easter Bunny photos for kids.
A week later, the Historic Trappe Early American Craft Fair on March 28 will spotlight traditional artisans and handcrafted goods ranging from pottery and watercolor paintings to papier-mache and furniture.
Taken together, the lineup offers something for just about every kind of shopper, whether the goal is to find a gift, discover a new favorite artisan or simply spend a spring day out in the community.
The events also reflect one of Montco’s strengths this time of year: local gatherings that mix small-business shopping with a family-friendly atmosphere.
