Looking to seriously level up Valentine’s Day plans in Montgomery County? Elkins Estate in Elkins Park is opening its doors for a one-night-only luxury experience designed to impress.
The 70,000-square-foot historic mansion is usually reserved for weddings and private events. This month, it will host a special Valentine’s Getaway on Feb. 14, offering couples a full evening of dining, drinks, music, and optional overnight accommodations. The event is being presented by Landmark Hospitality, which now owns and operates the estate.
Packages range from $750 to $1,600 and include a cocktail hour, three-course dinner, open bar, DJ, and late-night afterparty. Guests staying overnight can check in as early as 2 p.m., turning the celebration into a full-day escape. The menu leans indulgent, featuring items like lobster rolls, filet mignon, salmon, wild mushroom pot pie, lava cake, a chocolate fountain, and assorted baked goods.
Beyond the food, the estate itself is the star. Elkins Estate features soaring 50-foot ceilings, marble columns, and rare details like hand-tooled ostrich leather walls. Set on 42 acres, the property was purchased in 2019 for $6.5 million from the Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine de Ricci, who previously used it for women’s retreats.
The Valentine’s event follows a sold-out public tour earlier this year, part of Landmark’s push to open the estate more regularly for public-facing experiences.
