Conshohocken’s ZeroEyes Takes AI Threat Detection to the Skies

Conshohocken’s ZeroEyes launches an AI-powered drone system to detect guns and threats in real time, enhancing public safety response.

Conshohocken-based ZeroEyes, a national leader in AI-powered security technology, is taking its gun-detection platform to the skies, reports Keely Quinlan for StateScoop.

The company announced the launch of its ZeroEyes Aerial Detection Kit (ZAD). It’s their drone-integrated software designed to identify firearms and other potential threats in real time.

The system allows law enforcement agencies to integrate the ZAD software with their existing drones, enabling detection of guns, vehicles, people, and even maritime vessels from above. The technology provides instant automated alerts to dispatch centers, helping first responders rapidly assess and respond to potential threats during events, active assailant situations, or search-and-rescue operations.

“Outdoor spaces are among the most challenging environments to protect due to their size and open nature,” said Dustin Kisling, executive vice president of ZE Government Solutions, a ZeroEyes subsidiary. “With our new drone solution, we can detect potential threats in real time and provide verified alerts.”

ZeroEyes, which is certified under the Department of Homeland Security’s SAFETY Act, continues to expand its AI-driven tools nationwide, building on its original ground-based gun detection platform now used by schools, hospitals, and public venues.
