Conshohocken’s ZeroEyes Launches AI Weapon Detection In New Jersey School District

Conshohocken’s ZeroEyes debuts AI gun detection in Glassboro schools, instantly alerting staff and police to keep students safe.

Conshohocken’s ZeroEyes is leading the charge in school safety with its AI gun detection technology now operating across the Glassboro School District in South Jersey, writes Ryan Hughes for CBS News.

The rollout marks the first time in the nation that ZeroEyes’ software has been fully integrated with Singlewire Software’s mass communication system, enabling instant alerts and automated lockdowns when a weapon is detected.

ZeroEyes’ system works through the district’s 250 security cameras. If a firearm appears on-screen, the software flags it and alerts the company’s 24/7 operations center. Analysts confirm whether the threat is real, and within three to five seconds, law enforcement, school staff, and administrators receive notifications while buildings secure automatically.

“The new integration allowed us to not only eliminate the response time in identifying a weapon,” said Glassboro superintendent Al Lewis. “But then the time to notify law enforcement and staff that there was a security incident potentially going on.”

ZeroEyes was founded by former Navy SEALs and staffed with military and law enforcement veterans. It has quickly become a national leader in proactive gun detection.

With Glassboro pioneering the technology, the company hopes to demonstrate how AI-driven tools can transform campus safety protocols.
