East Norriton’s Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center just received a $62,500 matching grant from The Foxwynd Foundation, the company announced in a press release.

The grant provides a major boost to its $18 million capital campaign. The funds will support construction of a new Child Advocacy Center and Regional Training Facility in Plymouth Meeting, slated to open in spring 2026.

Each year, more than 1,200 children who have experienced abuse. Over 13,000 of their family members turn to Mission Kids for safety, support, and healing.

The new facility will bring every service under one roof, from forensic interviews and medical care to therapy and family advocacy, all in a child-centered environment designed to ease trauma.

The project also includes the region’s only dedicated Regional Training Center, where child protection professionals, law enforcement, medical providers, and prosecutors from across Pennsylvania and beyond will train together. The goal is to strengthen collaboration and raise the standard of care for children.

With $15.9 million already raised, the Foxwynd Foundation’s support helps Mission Kids close in on its fundraising goal.

“Because of this partnership, children who have endured the unimaginable will find a place where they are safe, supported, and believed,” said Mission Kids CEO Leslie Slingsby.
