PA CareerLink Montgomery County Hosts Dual Discovery Days for Career Seekers and Employers

Career Seeker Day on Sept. 8 offers free headshots, resume reviews, and career workshops, while Employer Day on Sept. 10 features networking, talent retention strategies, and workforce resources — all at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in Norristown.

PA CareerLink Montgomery County will host two upcoming Discovery Day events designed to connect career seekers and employers with valuable resources, professional development opportunities, and workforce support.

Both events will be held at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, 2 W. Lafayette Street in Norristown, with free parking, complimentary refreshments, and easy access via SEPTA.

These events reflect PA CareerLink Montgomery County’s mission to empower individuals and businesses with the tools they need to succeed in today’s workforce.

Career Seeker Discovery Day: Sept. 8, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

This event is designed for individuals looking to launch a new career, advance professionally, or gain training opportunities.

Local businesses are invited to learn how PA CareerLink Montgomery County can help them hire smarter, train better, and build stronger teams.

Highlights include:

  • Workshops on talent attraction and retention strategies.
  • Seminars on workforce roles and responsibilities led by PA CareerLink Montgomery County’s Business Services Team and partners, including OVR, Unemployment Compensation, and apprenticeship program representatives.
