MontcoForward, a promotional video highlighting the enhanced economic development initiative and campaign by the Montgomery County Commerce Department, has received a Gold Zedman Award for Local/Community Video.

The national award is overseen by the Society for Creative Professionals. It honors exemplary creative and imaginative content in production, direction, cinematography, graphics, writing, and editing.

The winning video highlights what makes Montgomery County “the place to live, work, learn, and invest.” It was made as part of a collaboration between Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board and the Montgomery County Commerce Department.

“The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board was proud to partner with the Montgomery County Commerce Department on the MontcoForward initiative,” said Mike Bowman, President & CEO of the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board.

The video, which was filmed by FreshFly, is hosted on the MontcoForward website. It is used in presentations to educate stakeholders and promote events, such as the upcoming Fall 2020 Pennsylvania Economic Development Association Conference.

Additionally, the video was posted on the VFTCB site and has been shared at trade shows and events around the county and internationally.

It is also available for use by chambers of commerce, municipalities, and partner organizations as part of economic development efforts in promoting Montgomery County.
