Dig Inn, the popular fast-casual restaurant, is expanding in Ardmore and Jenkintown this summer, writes Alana Beltran for NBC10 Philadelphia.
Dig Inn currently has locations in Rittenhouse Square and University City in Philadelphia. The expansion will extend its reach to suburban residents and support those communities.
“We’re incredibly proud to open two new Dig Inn locations in the Philadelphia suburbs,” said Tracy Kim, CEO of Dig Inn.
As a kick-off to the opening of the Ardmore location, the restaurant is hosting a food drive exchange on August 3 and 4, starting at 11 a.m. Guests who bring canned or non-perishable goods will receive a complimentary Dig Inn plate from a limited menu in exchange.
All of the items provided will be donated to the Ardmore Food Pantry.
The Ardmore location will officially open on August 5. 100 percent of that day’s sales being donated to the Ardmore Food Pantry.
“Partnering with local food pantries for our grand openings allows us to give back in a meaningful way and reinforce our ongoing commitment to supporting those who make each community such a special place,” said Kim.
The Jenkintown location is expected to open in September.
