100 York — a Jenkintown high-rise multifamily apartment community — ushered out 2022 by completing a $3-million renovation. The work, reported by Benzinga, sought to upgrade resident’s lifestyles.

“We transformed 100 York into a beautiful, airy, and open welcoming space,” said Temima Lindow, principal designer at AJH Co., owner and operator of 100 York.

The redesign effort sought not only to upgrade the property but also retain its historic charm.

Lindow was guided throughout with desire to create an innate appeal.

“I kept asking myself, ‘What does it feel like when I go home? That’s the feeling I wanted to recreate here,’” she said.

Improvements included fresh lighting; new hallway carpets, sconces, and accents; and upgraded HVAC and elevator systems.

New amenities were added: ping-pong and pool tables a yoga room, a movie theater, and a clubroom.

“Upon entering 100 York during my most recent visit, I instinctively knew we had succeeded in creating the space I had envisioned, I really felt that ‘welcome home feeling’ that everyone deserves to feel,” Lindow said.
