Wokworks to Bring AI-powered Flavor to Bryn Mawr

Wokworks opens in Bryn Mawr this fall with bold flavors, cozy vibes, and “Wendy”—a robot chef bringing wok magic to Montgomery County.

Wokworks, the cult-favorite Philly stir-fry spot, is headed to the Main Line with a high-tech twist, writes Cherise Lynch for NBC Philadelphia.

Known for customizable bowls and scratch-made sauces, Wokworks will open a new location this fall in Bryn Mawr. The brand’s newest location has a personal connection to co-founders Brennan and Samantha Foxman. It will be just blocks away from Villanova University, where Samantha studied when the two started dating.

“We’re so excited to open in Bryn Mawr,” Brennan said. “It’s a special place for us.”

The new space promises cozy wood booths, a lush indoor-garden vibe, and a menu full of nostalgic flavors.

But the real showstopper will be Wendy, Wokworks AI-powered robot chef. Wendt is built to replicate traditional wok technique to ensure every bowl is cooked with precision. The robot will usher in a new era of kitchen automation in Montgomery County.

Wokworks already has thriving locations in Philadelphia, Wyncote, and Margate. The Bryn Mawr location will be both a trip to the past for the Foxmans and a leap into the future for the culinary world.
