Philadelphia 76ers ownership and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin have purchased over 2,000 tickets to Game 6 to ensure the Wells Fargo Center is filled with Sixers fans and another Knicks takeover doesn't occur.

Philadelphia 76ers owners and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin have purchased over 2,000 tickets to Thursday night’s playoff Game 6 against the New York Knicks, writes Andrew Porter for KYW Newsradio.

This comes after concerns that too many Knicks fans took over the Wells Fargo Center for Games 3 and 4.

“The tickets will be distributed to first responders, health care professionals, community groups, and other local Philadelphia-based organizations to harness the intensity and excitement for tomorrow’s crucial showdown with the New York Knicks,” the Sixers announced in a statement on Wednesday.

Harris, who has an estimated net worth of around $9 billion, often sits courtside for most Sixers games.

Knicks fans have been buying up Sixers tickets on the secondary market at high resale prices.

After Game 4, Joel Embiid noted that it “kind of pisses me off” to see his team’s home court advantage get drowned out by “MVP!” chants when Jalen Brunson stood at the free throw line.

In addition, Chick-Fil-A’s “Bricken for Chicken” promotion will run through the entire game any any remaing Sixers home games during this playoff run.

The hope is that Sixers fans will show up big for Game 6.
