Skippack invites book lovers and literary enthusiasts to the debut of the Local Author Book Fest on Sunday, April 13.
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Victorian Carriage Shops, located at 4039 Skippack Pike. The event is free to the public.
The festival will feature over 50 authors and booksellers from across the region, offering signed copies of works. Titles span every genre—from mystery and romance to science fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, and children’s literature. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with writers, explore new titles, and celebrate the local literary community.
“I’m excited to help create a book fest in Montgomery County that brings writers and readers together in such an approachable space,” said co-organizer and author Jennifer M. Lane. “Our area has a great diversity of writers and readers, and Skippack is the ideal location for a book fest that can serve as a critical platform for community connection.”
The event is organized by the Norristown and Norriton Authors Alliance with support from Skippack’s independent bookstore, Pages and Parchment.
Attendees are welcome to browse author tables, chat with writers, and purchase signed books. Parking is available on-site.
