June Fete to Make a Triumphant Return Following a Year Hiatus

After last year’s pause, the June Fete Fair returns June 6–8 with rides, food, and a horse show to benefit Abington Hospital.

After a rare cancellation last year, the beloved June Fete Fair is making its return to Upper Moreland from June 6–8, writes Dino Ciliberti for the Patch.

Hosted by the Abington Health Foundation Women’s Board, the old-fashioned country fair will once again light up Huntingdon Valley with carnival rides, games, live music, food, and vendor shopping at 2990 Edge Hill Road.

A highlight of the weekend is the Saturday Horse & Pony Show, welcoming equestrians of all ages for a day of friendly competition.

Established in 1913, the June Fete has long been a community tradition. In 2023, it drew nearly 20,000 visitors and raised $107,000 for Jefferson Abington Hospital. This year’s proceeds will benefit the hospital’s Durham Fund for Nurse Wellness.

The 2024 fair marks a joyful comeback after Upper Moreland Township’s safety concerns halted last year’s event.
