HSN’s St. Petersburg headquarters has been listed for sale by QVC Group ahead of the home shopping network’s relocation to West Chester’s Studio Park campus, writes Ashley Gurbal Kritzer for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The company announced its plans to close HSN’s longtime campus in Florida in January, in order to consolidate its operations at QVC’s West Chester headquarters and production facilities. As a result, 730 employees in St. Petersburg will be laid off, starting in May.

HSN will begin broadcasting from its new location sometime in the third quarter.

CBRE Group is marketing the 65-acre site as a redevelopment opportunity for apartments and warehouses. It is promoting to the site as a “strategic central location in one of the nation’s strongest industrial markets” that is already fully zoned for industrial use.

At present, the property includes more than 487,000 square feet of office and industrial space spread across nine buildings.

Despite this sale and the relocation, QVC has already emphasized that the HSN brand will remain a key part of the company’s portfolio, maintaining its own voice, focus, and customer base distinct from QVC.
