CCRES Registered Behavior Technician Recognized

Dawn was honored for her outstanding service at CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician.

CCRES recognized Dawn H for her outstanding work as a Registered Behavior Technician. .

Dawn, is an RBT in the CCRES Home & Community Services Program, working in the Verbal Behavior classrooms in West Chester.

“Dawn is an expert in her field,” states Denise D. “As an RBT, she navigates seamlessly across settings, from verbal behavior classrooms, to community, to home settings. She steps in at a moment’s notice to mentor her peers and save the day when we are shorthanded. She always puts kids first, and I am honored to work with her.”

Dawn has been with CCRES for just over three years now. She started at a school for baking and pastry arts, but quickly learned all she could about Applied Behavior Analysis from “my amazing supervisors and teams.”

CCRES was created in 1999 through a partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit to meet the growing need for behavioral health services for children in Chester County and as a vehicle to give back to the community.

CCRES has grown and now provides vital support for children, families, and adults with a range of challenges, including autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, as well as intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

CCRES also provides a variety of experienced school administrators to educational agencies throughout the region, working with school districts, intermediate units, and other programs.

It continues to expand into neighboring counties, including Berks, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Lebanon, and Lancaster.
