CCRES is honoring Danielle Capato with the CCRES Paraeducator Recognition Award for her outstanding work at Newberry Elementary School in the West Shore School District.

Danielle has been with CCRES since August of 2023, working in the Autism Support Classroom.

“The fulfillment I’ve gotten from this job is so rewarding! I absolutely love my students and truly look forward to every workday.

“Though the job can have its challenges, “the smiles, endless laughter, and love from our incredible kids outweigh them,” Danielle said.

CCRES was created in 1999 through a partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit to meet the growing need for behavioral health services for children in Chester County and as a vehicle to give back to the community.

CCRES provides professional resources, coaching, and counseling for children, families, and adults with a range of challenges, including autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, as well as intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.
