One popular local spot has made the list of the seven great small town craft breweries in Pennsylvania, writes Robin Shreeves for The Keystone.
Forest & Main Brewing is a true gem in Ambler in a beautiful Victorian building from the late 1800s. With 13 beers on tap, including three side pulls and three hand pumps, the brewery offers a unique experience.
It is one of the few small-town Pennsylvania breweries to gain national recognition, after being featured on Amazon Prime’s Not Your Father’s Beer. It was also named the “Place for Casual Day Drinking” by Philadelphia Magazine on its Best of Philly lists. While the brewery doesn’t serve food, guests can bring their own.
Forest & Main Brewing is at 33 East Butler Avenue.
