Amber Forest & Main Releases Rare Craft Beer Collaboration

Earlier this month, Ambler-based Forest and Main Brewing Company released a rare and exclusive beer that was brewed in collaboration with Oxbow Brewery from Bridgeport, Maine.

Forest & Main Brewing Company at 61 N Main Street in Ambler.

Called, “Round Heads and Pointed Heads” this uniquely styled beer is a strong dark saison. Fermented in oak before aging for several months in barrels, this beer tastes like a balance between a Flanders Red ale and a farmhouse dubbel.

With an even body showcasing several prominent and popular Belgian styled beer styles, this mysterious beer drinks beautifully now and due to its high ABV, will also age gracefully.

If the brewery is too far away for a visit, bottles are also available at the Winter Market at Primex Garden Center in Glenside on Saturdays from 10 – 1, while supplies last.

Perfect for the holidays and the cold nights ahead, Round Heads and Pointed Heads is available in 750mL bottles for $22. The batch consists of a mere 700 bottles, with a limit of six bottles per person.

Nestled in a Victorian-style house dating from the 1880s, Forest & Main, Brewery & Pub creates old world style ales, and satisfying, seasonally inspired dishes.
