Two Chester County companies have found a place on the recently published Forbes 2025 America’s Best Large Employers List

For the last decade, the publication has ranked America’s best employers based on criteria such as compensation, employee development and advancement, meaningful work, supportive colleagues, and workplace well-being and flexibility. The rankings are created by data from a survey of over 217,000 employees at companies across the country. 

Malvern-based Vanguard Group ranked highest at No. 343 on the list. Founded in 1975, the investment giant has grown into one of the largest and most influential financial firms in the world. Currently led by CEO Salim Ramji, Vanguard employs approximately 20,000 people. 

Saint-Gobain SA, also headquartered in Malvern, with its global headquarters in Courbevoie, France, earned a spot on the list at No. 654. Founded in 1665, the company has become a global leader in manufacturing and distributing construction materials across several business segments, including Innovative Materials, Construction Products, and Building Distribution. Saint-Gobain employs 159,145 people around the world.
